******* A UK first for Canvey Seafront ******
The Alpha Leisure Group, operators of Movie Starr Cineplex and Starr Snooker on Canvey Seafront can now reveal that after detailed negotiations with Mr Terry Johnson the UK product specialist of the Brunswick Corporation of America bowling will be coming to Canvey Seafront this summer.
It will be the very latest Brunswick Virtual Bowling, which has to be played to be believed, bowling a normal full size bowling ball down a real lane and on into the virtual world.
Representatives of Alpha Leisure Group flew over to Sweden earlier this year to meet the inventor of Virtual Bowling, Mr Jan Hansen at the Hard Rock Cafe Gothenburg where the worlds first Virtual Bowling was installed
Jan Hansen entered into an agreement with the Brunswick Corporation who then introduced Virtual Bowling to the world at the 2005 IAAPA trade show. This fantastic game was then released to the world market during the summer of 2006.
Virtual Bowling has now been installed in 15 countries worldwide including some in Europe, Japan and in the United States such as Las Vegas and Chicago. The Canvey Seafront operation will be the first of its kind in the UK.
